The Best Deal Yet!

This was by far my best deal ever since stockpiling a few months ago.... I couldn't have accomplished this without the help of my friends and family. So in no particular order thank you to: Carole, Jeannie, Kris, Susan, Jennifer, Kristina, Karen, my sister Lisa, and my ever supportive Dh!

19 Boxes of Near East Couscous- Regularly $2.19 per box

Total of 19 boxes at Regular Price- $41.61

Publix had the Near East Couscous BOGO free last week...plus I gathered 19 coupons with the help of family and friends above. ($0.50 off - Publix doubled to $1.00 off)

Total of 19 boxes of couscous after BOGO and 19 coupons - $1.81

Total Savings- $39.80 or 95%

How is that for a sweet deal???? LOL!!!

Edit to add: Someone asked me why I bought 19 boxes if they were BOGO. Well, I did that because I only had 19 coupons. Publix takes the BOGO price and splits it on each box. So it would be 1.09 and 1.10 for each box. Then when I add a coupon to both, it takes $1.00 off each box...essentially making them .o9 and .10 respectively. Since I only had 19 coupons I only bought 19 boxes.

Wow that is great. I love their couscous and I rarely ever find it on sale.

Great deal! I love saving money like that! I love couscous too but I like the big pearls not the little ones. This brand you bought used to sell them but I haven't found it in any stores I have looked for a couple of years.

Oh, my! What a deal!
I'm glad we could all pitch in and help you with the coupons.
What an awesome stock pile you have.
WTG!

I looooove this stuff! Based on your blog (yes, I read it every day!) I went and bought some BOGO free. I didn't have any coupons, but it was still a good deal! We actually had the Roasted Garlic and pecan whole grain last night for dinner. Yum, yum... I'm amazed at how much you saved - you're good girl! :-)
