The kiddos had basketball practice, and I knew I had about 45 minutes to kill before I had to order the Papa John's $5 pizza for dinner. So, I headed to Target, because their Valentine stuff was on sale 75% off. I walked into the store and first checked the bins in the front, because I thought I saw some clearance merchandise. Nope...but I did find these at $1.00 each. :-) I picked up 12 of them. I know that's alot, but a formal place setting usually includes dinner for 12, so picture 12 popcorn tubs instead.
Now you need to know that I have been searching around for these exact items since December when I went to visit my sister and we had movie night at her house. She used really large styrofoam cups to give each kid some popcorn.... it worked great, and made me think of the movie theater popcorn tubs. So, like her family, I wanted to start a regular movie night at our house.... But, I can't have a movie night without those cool popcorn tubs! Right? (No, I'm kidding I know I can....but these are so cool!) Anyway, I've been looking for them and found some online, but didn't want to pay the shipping on them. How cool is it that I found them tonight? Awesome!
But even better after browsing around Target and getting some "Mom time", I went to check out. I was looking in my purse as I thought I might have a Target gift card leftover from Christmas. Well, I found it and handed it to the cashier saying, "Let's try this card, but it may have nothing left on it..." She grinned after she rang it through and said to me... "You still have $5 left to use on the card!" Woohoo!! She chuckled as I took my receipt and headed out the door. Like a cheshire cat, my smile was so big.... I LOVE it when I "find" money!

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog! That's awesome that you are in a process of adoption...are any of your other children adopted? I didn't realize that Russia was doing adoptions again, I thought they had somewhat closed their program. How old will your children be?
By the way, the popcorn tubes are awesome!
It was nice meeting you....good luck on your journey!
I think those popcorn things are too cute. I have seen those in there beore. I wanted to get to target today & didnt. boohooo
We have some of those popcorn tubs and we love them...just DON'T wash them in the dishwaser! They're not nearly as cute with most of the paint washed off. :-(
It was an accident I got that pic of Dale Jr. but a good one at that. Yep, not a great day for Team Hendricks. But as you said, it's a long season. They'll rebound! As for Dale Jr. Hey, at least he FINISHED a race!!! So you said a formal table was a setting for 12....do you have 10 kids?????
I love Target. It's so much fun to shop there! The popcorn tubs are really cute :)
